Experience over the last 57 years has shown that if you go to your local registration authorities armed with nothing more than a colour brochure enquiring if a car can be registered for road use you will almost certainly be told it can't (it's all to do with Civil Servants covering their butts) some countries will not confirm that a car can be registered for road use until they have actually seen one. In some Countries it is much easier to register a factory assembled Dutton if we supply it with a UK registration number and correct Dutton registration document (V5C) The Dutton complies with all relevant UK Type Approval vehicle regulations - Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) SHIPPING We ship everything Dutton everywhere (well apart from Russia of course), from small parts to engines to kits and complete cars. SHIP STUFF FOR FREE? Got anything else in the UK that you want shipped? We can fill any unused space in a container with non Dutton items, usually at no cost. Just get it delivered to our factory and we can stuff it for you. To date we have successfully shipped ROVs, furniture, road diggers, other makes of car parts (even other makes of kit car), small submarines, agricultural equipment Et al. We can arrange all shipping, in addition we can have all shipping charges invoiced direct to you to pay when the car arrives at your end. This reduces the amount of paperwork and you can pay in your own local currency. Once we receive a definite order we can obtain shipping quotes for you, before then you can easily obtain costings from shippers at your end, just search "20ft container UK to (your location)" and advise we will stuff free of charge at Littlehampton UK. The size of the Dutton is irrelevant as you will be using a dedicated container and give total weight as 250kg for kits or 700kg fully built cars. If shipping a complete Dutton on wheels ask for the alternative method of Roll On Roll Off (RORO) pricing. MULTI ORDERS. We can fit more than 1 Dutton in a 20ft and more than 2 in a 40ft container, contact factory for further details. It is time consuming for shippers to sort out quotes so unfortunately they will not quote us unless they know we have a definite order. VAT UK :- VAT at 20% is charged to all (excluding secondhand donor cars and mainly Government testing fees). VAT registered companies can claim it back if being used for R&D (promoting new technologies i.e. electric drive) publicity etc. REST OF THE WORLD :- Everything is supplied tax free |
